    Ms. Dinda Entitled Best Participant at Effective Leadership Skills Training at Batam

    TransWISH Indonesia (www.TransWISHIndonesia.com) announces another successful Training arrangement. Training titled “Effective Leadership Skills Training” conducted for Idros Services. The event was held in A Hotel  in Nagoya, Batam from February 13 to 14th 2016.

    Trainer for this training is Mr. Luki Tantra. Present on this training are leaders from Idros Services Batam:

    Effective Leadership Skills Training First day, Feb 13th 2014,

    After opening and safety induction, all leaders are taken to understand themselves by completing a personality type questionnaire.

    After understanding fellow leader’s personality type, all leaders then have to undergo a SWOT analysis. This knowledge is important to be effective leader in this effective leadership training

    First, they have to analyze themselves on their Strength, Weakness, Opportunities and Threats (SWOT). After that, leaders are expected to analyze other leaders and write down their SWOT. Next, each leader has to listen from other leaders about their SWOT. All the analysis results are read with the intentions to help their fellow leaders.All the analysis listening process are with open heart and mind to explore and develop each leaders more.

    Training continued with understanding the difference of manager and leader. Topics continued by understanding types of leaderships and their traits.

    Next agenda is increasing self confidence of the leader. By the end of the session, all participants are requested to break their fear and weakness. All leaders write their fear and weakness on a hard, wood pencil.

    Standing in pairs, each participant has to break the pencil with their index finger. All leaders break their symbol of weakness and boundaries, only Ms. Dinda failed and post pone to continue the next day.

    After that, the topics continued by basic conflict management and synergistic decision making. All leaders facing a simulation called “Missing in Alaska”. In this simulation, leadership types of each leader shown.

    Next topic is time management and closed by Art of Negotiations topic.

     

    Effective Leadership Skills Training Second day, Feb 14th 2016.

    Day two started by effective delegation topic following by motivating and building team. Here the leaders understand what motivates employee and why good employee left the job. Also, using Abraham Maslow’s hierarchy of needs to understand what motivates employee.

    After lunch, all leaders go in to effective public speaking skills.

    After getting explanation on how to build an effective public speaking skill, all leaders required to build their presentations from scratch and present them effectively.

    For the final project, this group of leader is facing challenging tasks. These tasks will require their knowledge and ability acquired from their experience and two days training. This challenge called: All around the world.

    This challenge requires leaders to complete 6 tasks in the shopping mall. The tasks must be done without their mobile phone or wallet. The only thing they had is a little amount of money given form training assistant.

    In the end of challenge, the leader team finishes all tasks in less than 1 hour.

    But the leader’s mission is not over yet.

    Back to the class, they only have 5 minutes to have some coffee break. The challenge continued with The Tsunami. They have to determine which of them should be left behind to die in the tsunami.

    At the end of the effective leadership skills training,

    Ms. Dinda entitled best participant by 7 (seven) points vote. She left Mr. Andre on the second place with only 2 (two) votes. Mr. Ludy comes third with only one vote. Other leaders get no vote at all.

    After closing, Ms. Dinda re try her attempt to break her pencil, as a symbol as her weakness and boundaries.
